Oh Shoot

I have been deprived from my other half,but it’s to wet for a burial.My laptop died and I will never use Vista once again.Now I’m working off my Dad’s laptops and my iPod..thank god for those things huh?I thought I’d do a small and quick update.

1) Mr.WHS was a success last friday.I taught ten guys a dance routine and was backstage that night of the event,it was amazing.I will blog more about this event later on in the week,I promise.

2)I will be performing in A Midnight Summers Dream and Alice in Wonderland at NCDC.I’m pretty excited and I can’t wait.Another note about dance.My Mom took some amateur pictures of me dancing,will post those soon.

3)I also took some more pictures around my Dad’s house,upload those soon too.

4)Also for my crappy Journalism class,we are doing another issue of The Roar.My good friend Megan and I are doing a page on Spring Fashion.

I’m going to add some changes to my blog as well.Once or twice a week I’ll post a column writing of mine,they will end up being about anything.I might change my banner soon as well.

I’ll touch on almost all of these later on in the week when I can update.Toodles.

 

Cocky,Concieted Guys.

Most of them are,especially in high school. Since I am placed in Advanced Journalism class I am apart of setting up and working on Mr.WHS.Which is a contest for some of the most well known guys on campus to compete to be the king of our high school. I have volunteered to work with all the contestants, be with them at the meetings and actually help them backstage. I have also volunteered to choreograph the dance which all of the contestants will do(Considering I have the most dance experience in my class). I’m nervous about the dance for one, it can’t come out bad.

I’m looking forward to the event,a lot.Working with cocky conceited guys aren’t really my specialty but it will be fun.

Welcome back to our weirdly colored school

I spent my Christmas break watching re-runs of Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy,which was awesome in my opinion but maybe lame to some.Those shows are the bomb I will add.I also spent my break taking a lot of pictures,on the computer and constantly running into things.

Now it’s time to go back to Whitney again,where our buildings are painted in a weird orange,green and yellow color.Classroom C2 is actually hell.I have a World History teacher that sings the ‘Kelly’ song from cheers to me.I’ve got a constantly angry French teacher who is married to my odd world history teacher.I’m not really looking forward to this.Also the bad food at my school,yeah,that too.

Next up,our District holiday.Can’t wait,bring it on.

 

Lets Start this New Year with a BANG

Last night for New Years I went out to dinner with my family and my friend’s family.Then we went down to greenhorn which is this place out in the middle of no where.We set off illegal fireworks,shizz.Taking pictures of fireworks is a bitch might I add,it was difficult.Molly and I sat away from where they were setting them off,we laid down on a blanket and took pictures.She constantly kept laughing when the firework was done and my shutter would sound.We also were laughing at almost everything because we were becoming tired,it was insane.It was quite fun though.Here are some pictures of the fireworks from last night:

After fireworks we went up to my house and watched New Year’s with Carson Daily.We watched the ball drop…how appropriate?Our country celebrates New Years with a ball dropping,anyone else get that?Then when it turned to 2010 my Dad lit a bottle rocket off our deck,I felt unsafe.All in all,I had a awesome New Year’s.How was yours?

The Christmas Camera

The one thing I hoped to get for Christmas this year was a new camera.I was having to deal with bad resolution and slow shutter speeds with my old camera,Ms.Canon Powershot A560.I’ve been given the  Canon Powershot SX20 IS.I’m in love with all the scene settings,focus,shutter speeds and more.Since yesterday I’ve been testing it out:

Fresh and New

I sat here thinking about how to start this,trying to keep in mind everything Bobby Hawthrone told me in his writers workshop on Thursday afternoon.He gave strong examples of muscular writing that wowed me.They had voice,it was honest,unique.More then anything all those examples moved me,motivated me.The entire workshop was inspiring,it helped me get out of my rut.It showed me how I could start writing in my own unique style and voice.

Bobby Hawthrone caught me off gaurd.His comments were outrageous,funny,fresh and different.I know,I’m really working the adjectives here.His workshop was what I needed,I was glad I went instead of sitting inside a depressing Chemistry classroom.

I know that his workshop has already taught me a lot.I know it’s going to help with my writing.But more importantly, it’s going to help me personally.

 

Oh Hai

Hey,what it do,I’ve deleted everything off my blog.Why?I’m revamping it,fabulous,I know.I guess I wanted to start over on this blog because now I have more important and hilarious things to blog about.

So with saying that I’m changing up my site,probably a new layout soon,a new banner is in need as well.Yeah…definitely a new banner.
